Neighborhood House Community Lunches – December 4 and 18

Winter on Mount Desert Island is special. It's a chance to take a deep breath after a crazy summer and reconnect with neighbors. There's not a better place to do that than at the Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor, with their Community Lunches served the 1st and 3rd Thursday.  That means you should be circling December 4th and 8th on your calendar now!

During the last Community Lunch on November 20th, they served over 300!

Lunches are served from 11:30 to 1, or while supplies last. There is a $10 suggested donation, and seniors are invited to eat on the house. You can either dine in, or take out!

Here are the December menus!

December 4 - Ribs, Cornbread, Baked Beans and Dessert. The meal is sponsored by WMH Architects, Wright-Ryan, and Herrick & Salsbury.

December 18 - Chicken Pot Pie, Brussels Sprout Salad, Cranberry Sauce and Dessert. The meal is sponsored by AB & JR Hodgkins, Edward Jones Financial- Elise Frank, The Salt Market.
