Northeast Harbor won’t be a small sleepy town on Saturday, December 3rd with the Northeast Harbor Christmas Festival, a day full of activities highlighted by Santa’s arrival at the Marina aboard the Sunbeam at 3:30 p.m.

The activities include

Frosty 5K - Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Neighborhood House. Walkers and children begin at 9:30 and the run starts at 10AM

Holiday Card and Snowflake Making - 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Northeast Harbor Library

Santa's Workshop - Noon to 3 p.m. at the Neighborhood House. Children can bring canned goods or non-perishable food items for the food pantry then shop and wrap up to 4 gifts with a personal shopper

Make a Jingle Bell Noisemaker Craft - 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Maine Seacoast Mission

Caroling  - 3:15 PM at the Northeast Harbor Marina

Santa and Mrs. Claus Arrive on the Maine Sea Coast Mission's Subbeam at 3:30 p.m. at the Marina

Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus - On the porch of Carter Real Estate from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.  and then from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Maine Seacoast Mission Open House

Bonfire - Great Harbor Maritime Museum 4:30-7 p.m. Make a peace flag with Artwaves and enjoy a Holiday Photobooth to benefit the Mount Desert Elementary School PTO inside the museum.
