NORAD Santa Tracker NOT Affected By Government Shutdown

We know that parts of Acadia National Park have been affected by the Government shutdown, but 1 thing NOT affected is the NORAD Santa Tracker.

NORAD's Santa tracker is in it's 63rd year, operating from Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado. The Santa tracker keeps track of where Santa is, as well as the number of gifts delivered.

The NORAD Santa Tracker can be accessed online or by phone, 1-877-HI-NORAD and is run by volunteers and is funded by the Pentagon budget which was approved earlier. Last year, the Santa Tracker drew 126,000 phone calls, handled by 160 phones and 18 million website hits.
