No Cruise Ships in Bar Harbor but There’s 1 in Eastport

There are no cruise ships in Bar Harbor, but there's 1 in Eastport, and it's a biggie! Eastport is now the home for the Oceania Riviera

According to the Portland Press Herald, the Oceania Riviera with it's crew of 130 is expected to call Eastport their home indefinitely. The crew will have to stay on board and won't be able to explore the town. The company is paying about $1,500 per day, or $50,000 per month for use of the port.

Washington County has experienced only 1 case of the Coronavirus.

The Oceania Riviera was built in 2012 and refurbished in 2019. She has 11 guest decks and 16 decks in total. Normal staff size is 800 and can hold 1250 guest based on double occupancy. The ship is 784.95 feet long
