MDI Football Falls to Mt. Ararat 28-0 [STATS & PHOTOS]

The MDI Football Team fell to the Mt. Ararat Eagles 28-0 on Alumni Field in Bar Harbor on Friday, September 26th.

Mount Ararat outgained MDI 361 - 143 yards rushing.

Avery Desjardin scored twice for Mt. Ararat, on a 28 yard run and a 85 yard run. Nicholas Doughty also scored twice for the Eagles, on a 5 yard run and an 69 yard run.

MDI is now 2-2 on the season and will play at Ellsworth on Friday, October 3rd. That game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA provided the Red Sox are not playing in the playoffs at that time. The game will be broadcast on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device with the pregame starting at 6:340 p.m.

Mt. Ararat is 3-1. They will play at Lake Region on Friday, October 3rd at 7 p.m.
