Teachers, students and staff at the Mountain View School in RSU 24 will continue remote learning for the rest of the week, through Friday, November 20th, and with the district having the following week off for an extended break, won't return to in-person instruction until Monday, November 30th.

This decision, announced in a letter and email from RSU 24 Superintendent Michael Eastman is due to the fact that there are 19 students who are quarantined and 13 staff members who are quarantined because of COVID-19. There are simply too many staff members out and not enough substitutes available to facilitate in person learning.

This affects only the Mountain View School, in Sullivan, and not other schools within RSU 24. However ALL schools in RSU 24 do have the extended Thanksgiving break starting on Monday, November 23rd.
