Minor Coastal Flooding Possible Downeast Early Wednesday AM
The National Weather Service is advising that there's a chance of minor coastal flooding Downeast in Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point, Lamoine State Park, Castine, Roque Bluffs State Park, Machias and Eastport
According to the National Weather Service water will begin to approach the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and piers. Low-lying causeways will have some minor splash over, High tide on Tuesday morning will be at 1:47 AM in Bar Harbor.
There is a small craft advisory until Wednesday morning, October 2nd at 8AM. The coastal forecast for waters from Schoodic to Stonington out 25 nautical miles calls for Southwest winds 10 to 20 knots with gusts up to 30 knots, seas 6 to 9 feet
