MDI – Waterville Football Friday September 22

The MDI Trojans' Football Team returns home to Alumni Field this Friday night, September 22nd to play host to the Waterville Purple Panthers. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Trojans come into the game with a 2-1 record, as do the Panthers. Both teams lost last Friday for the 1st time. MDI lost to Camden Hills 28-16 while Waterville lost to Morse 16-14.

Waterville has allowed just 14 points all season long, in their 3 games. In their 1st game they shutout Spruce Mountain 34-0 and in their 2nd game, they shutout out Mt. Ararat 24-0

The Trojans won their 1st game over Mountain Valley 36-26 and their 2nd game over Gray-New Gloucester 44-16

Friday night's game will be broadcast on WDEA Internet Radio,  on our free downloadable APP as well as any Alexa enabled device with the pregame beginning at 6:40 p.m.

The weather Friday night in Bar Harbor is calling for clear skies with lows in the upper 40's so it's probably a good time to break out the hoodie or bring a blanket if you are coming to Alumni Field!
