MDI Beats Ellsworth 3-1 in Volleyball [PHOTOS]

The MDI Trojans beat the Ellsworth Eagles 3-1 in volleyball at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor on Thursday October 2nd.  The individual set scores were 25-14, 21-25, 25-20 and 25-13.

Ellsworth Stat Leaders were

• Sophia Harmon: 1 kill, 9 assists, 11 digs
• Caitlin Jenkins: 6 kills, 5 digs
• Austyn Atherton: 1 ace, 8 kills, 1 block, 1 assist, 14 digs
• Sophie Beal: 2 aces, 5 kills, 4 blocks, 2 assists, 12 digs
• Lauren Young: 1 ace, 5 kills, 19 digs

MDI Stat Leaders were

• Cora VanDongen: 7 kills, 5 digs
• Lily Byer: 4 kills, 2 aces, 21 assists, 12 digs

• Ella Watson: 3 kills, 1 ace, 13 digs
