MDI Girls Beat Bucksport 3-0 to Advance in Class C Volleyball Playoffs

The #2 MDI Girls Volleyball Team defeated #7 Bucksport 3-0 on Friday night, October 24th in a Class C Northern Maine Quarterfinal at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor. The individual set scores were 25-20, 25-17, 25-11.

Individual MDI Stat Leaders included:

• Janiece Anderson: 9 kills, 4 aces, 8 digs, 1 block assist
• Grace Sinclair: 6 aces, 4 digs, 1 assist
• Thalia Thomas: 1 kill, 1 ace, 19 assists, 3 digs
• Ella Watson: 3 kills, 3 ace, 2 digs, 1 block assist
• Lanaia McDaniels: 1 kill, 4 aces, 4 digs, 1 block assist

The Trojans will host the winner of the #3 Ellsworth vs. #6 Medomak Valley Quarterfinal in the Class C Northern Maine Semifinals.
