MDI 1-Hits Old Town Winning 15-0

Colin Sullivan and Preston Tripp combined to 1-hit the Old Town Coyotes, as the MDI Trojans won 15-0 in Bar Harbor on Wednesday, May 20th.

Sullivan went 4.0 innings and allowed 1 hit. He struck out 10 and walked 2. Tripp pitched the 5th inning, striking out 2.

Sullivan helped himself at the plate going 2-2 with a triple and driving in 3 runs. He walked twice and scored 3 times.

Alex Roos was 3-3 with a double and drove in 5 runs.

Alister Frongillo had a double and drove in a run.

Preston Tripp, Ben Ingram, Eli Macdonnell and Spencer Grierson each had a single for MDI.

MDI was 8-9 on stolen bases. Sullivan swiped 2 bases. Ben Ingram, Cameron Graham, Eli Macdonnell, Mason Lapoint, Preston Tripp and Spencer Grierson each had 1 stolen base.

Michael Carroll had Old Town's lone hit. Eli Closson had a stolen base.

MDI is now 7-4 They will play host to Bucksport on Monday, May 25th at 4 p.m.

Old Town is now 6-5. They will host John Bapst on Saturday, May 23rd at 4 p.m.
