MDI Falls to Camden Hills 35-0 in Northern Maine 8-Man Large School Regional Finals [STATS/PHOTOS]

The #2 MDI Trojans fell to the #1 Camden Hills Windjammers 35-0 on Saturday, November 8th in the Northern Maine 8-Man Large School Regional Finals.

The game was close through the 1st Half, with Camden Hills leading 14-0. Camden Hills had a slight advantage in yardage through the 1st Half, 179-113. But in the 2nd Half, Camden Hills outgained MDI 135-24 yards and outscored the Trojans 21-0. The last 8 minutes were played in running time with the Windjammers leading by 35 points.

MDI turned the ball over 3 times with 2 fumbles and an interception, with 1 of the fumbles and interception killing potential scoring drives.

Camden Hills will now play Mt. Ararat for the 8-Man Large School Championship on Saturday, November 15th. It is Camden Hills 1st appearance in the Championship Game.
