MDI Tips Hermon 3-1

The MDI Trojans beat the Hermon Hawks on Tuesday, May 1st in Hermon, 3-1 picking up a huge Heal Point worthy win. Matt Perconti spun a 3 hitter striking out 9 while walking 3 for the win.

The Trojans banged out 10 hits off of Hermon pitcher Alex Applebee. Sam Keblinsky was 3-4 with a double, driving in 2 runs. Alden Fournier, Stanley Grierson, Nick Stanley, Jacob Mitchell, Andrew Kennedy, Fin McConomy and Liam Sullivan all had a single. Nick Stanley swiped 2 bases.

Garrett Trask had a double for Hermon. Keith Pomeroy and Alex Applebee each singled for the Hawks.

MDI is now 4-1 and plays twice more this week, both road games. On Thursday, May 3rd, they play at Old Town at 4:30PM and then at Foxcroft Academy on Saturday, May 5th at 12 Noon.

Hermon is now 4-2 and plays at Central on Friday, May 4th at 4:30PM.
