The Southwest Harbor Public Library, the Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor and the Northeast Harbor Public Library are all offering tax help starting in February through the Association or American Retired Persons (AARP) Foundation Tax-Aide program.

You do NOT need to be a senior to participate. This service is free to taxpayers with low and moderate income and is offered in cooperation with the IRS. These trained volunteers help taxpayers receive all applicable tax credits and deductions and all tax help is confidential

Southwest Harbor Public Library - Will offer help by appointment only on Thursday, February 5th, and on Mondays February 9th and 23rd, March 9th, 23rd and 30th and April 13th.

Jesup Memorial Library - Will offer help by appointment only on Thursday, February 19th, Saturday, March 21st and Saturday, April 11th.

Northeast Harbor Public Library - Will offer help by appointment only on Monday March 2nd, 16th and April 6th.
