MDI Hospital Offers Community Flu Shot Clinics in October

MDI Hospital is offering a series of community flu shot clinics in October.

The cost of a flu shot is $49.50 and the high-dose vaccine for those 65 and over is $155.00. Medicare and MaineCare are accepted.

Flu Clinics will be held

• Tuesday, October 7th from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Mount Desert Nursing Association, 12 Summit Road in Northeast Harbor.
• Thursday, October 9th from 1 to 3 p.m. at Malvern Belmont Estates, 80 Mount Desert Street in Bar Harbor.
• Saturday, October 18th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pemetic Elementary School Gymnasium, 327 Main Street in Southwest Harbor.
• Tuesday, October 21st from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Mount Desert Nursing Association, 12 Summit Road in Northeast Harbor.
• Thursday, October 23rd from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. at the Mill Pond Clinic, 235 Minturn Road on Swan's Island.
