COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduling Call Line

If you are a Maine resident currently eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please call MDI Hospital at 207-801-5011 on Fridays and Mondays between 12 and 3 pm to request an appointment.

If you do not reach a scheduler during open hours, appointments are booked for the week. MDI Hospital is typically notified on Thursdays of their expected weekly dose allocation. For questions, please contact covidvaccine@mdihospital.org.

Under the new Federal policy, participants in the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program – which includes certain Hannaford, Walgreens and Walmart pharmacies in Maine – are now directed to give access to available appointments exclusively to school staff and licensed child care workers. Existing appointments for those aged 60 and over at these pharmacies will remain active. School staff and child care workers should first check the websites of retail pharmacy partners for vaccine availability. A listing of Maine’s vaccination sites and retail pharmacies can be found here

MDI Hospital will be hosting another Town Hall on Monday, March 22nd from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. President/CEO Christina J. Maguire will be joined by Trevor Casey, PharmD, Kate Worcester, PA-C, and J.R.
