MDI Hospital issues Coronavirus updates every Wednesday. Here's their latest update as of Wednesday, February 17th and information on an upcoming virtual Town Hall regarding vaccinations on Monday February 22nd

There's been quite a bit of interest in the pace of vaccinations. MDI Hospital has administered 2278 doses as of February 17th, which includes 1,563 First Doses and 715 Second Doses. This is an increase of 410 doses since February 10th. MDI Hospital is limited in the number of doses it is receiving. Of the 410 doses, 206 went to those receiving their 1st vaccination and 204 to those receiving their 2nd vaccination

MDI Hospital has confirmed 63 cases of COVID-19 of Hancock County residents and 8 cases for non-Hancock County residents, which is NO increase from February 17th!

MDI Hospital will be offering another virtual COVID-19 Town Hall from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, February 22nd.
President/CEO Christina J. Maguire will be joined by Trevor Casey, PharmD, Kate Worcester, PA-C, and J.R. Krevans, Jr., MD to discuss coronavirus updates in the greater MDI area with a focus on vaccinations.
