MDI High School Open House for Incoming 9th Graders and Parents – March 5th

If you are an 8th grader considering attending MDI High School as part of the Class of 2024, you and your parents will want to attend the Open House on Thursday, March 5th.

Registration begins at 5 p.m. Students and their parents should enter the school through the Bernard Parady Gymnasium Lobby, and pick up their materials and a schedule for the evening.

There will be an Activity Fair of clubs and teams and other co-curricular events in the Gym, and members of the Class of 2024 may sign up for clubs and teams that interest them. Snacks will be available in the Cafeteria until 5:45 p.m.

At 5:45 p.m. children and parents will head to their child's advisory to meet their advisor, fellow parents and strudents.

At 6 .p.m. everyone will head to the Higgins-Demas Theater for a welcoming address from Principal Matt Haney, before returning to their respective advisory groups to rotate through 4 activities that include an Academic Fair, Student/Parent Panels, Student guided tours of the school and a meet the teacher session.
