MDI High School Awards 5 Service Award

On Thursday night, February 8th, in between the MDI-Ellsworth basketball doubleheader, MDI High School awarded 5 with a service award and their names were placed on a banner to hang in Bernard Parady Gymnasium forever.

Honored were

• Kim Davis - Served  8 years as MDI High School Athletic Booster President
• Wendy McKim - Served  6 years as MDI High School Athletic Booster President
• Wendy Littlefield - Served 10 years as Treasurer and Vice President of the MDI High School Athletic Boosters. Wendy is also the Business Manager of the High School and described as Jill of All Trades and Master of Many!
• Tammy Dow - In 34 years Tammy has worked over 5000 events for the High School. She has coached Cheering and also owns a 1-0 record as the Baseball Coach when Bunky Dow was ejected from a game.She has sold tickets, athletic wear, staffed the cook shack etc in over 5000 events.
• Leslyn Shea - Served 3 years as MDI High School Athletic Booster President

The best part... All 5 had no clue they were going to be honored and were completely surprised!
