MDI Girls Summer Basketball Camp June 19-22

If you have a daughter or are a girl who will be entering Grades 6-9 in September, 2023 and want to improve your basketball skills, you might want to consider enrolling in the MDI Girls Summer Basketball Camp being held Monday-Friday June 19-22 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Camp, to be held at MDI High School will be conducted by Girl's Basketball Coach Brent Barker and current and former members of the MDI Girl's Basketball Team.

The Camp features skill stations, full court drills, Tournaments (5 on 5, 3 on 3 and 1 on 1), and Daily Competitions (Hot Shot, Free Throws, 3-point, Skills Challenges) The clinic will focus on fundamentals and defense.

The emphasis will be on encouraging all players to develop a greater understanding of each aspect of the game of basketball. The goal is to develop players who are serious about basketball and to combine this knowledge with the hard work necessary to improve skill level.

This camp is for everyone from beginners, to advanced players.

Players should being basketball shoes/sneakers, t-shirt, athletic shorts, water and snacks.

The cost of the camp is $75 and scholarships are available.
