The MDI Girls Soccer Team fell to the Hermon Hawks 3-1 in Bar Harbor on Monday, October 8th in a game that had been postponed twice this season.

Hermon jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 1st Half, when Olivia Nash scored, with just 3:15 elapsed with an assist by Sydney Gallop. Allison Treat scored just 3:11 later with an assist by Nash. MDI's Zoe Olson scored MDI's lone goal with 2:21 remaining in the 1st Half.

Gallop gave Hermon an insurance goal with 25:29 remaining in the 2nd Half, with an assist by Madison Curtis.

MDI's Sabine Costello-Sanders was in goal for the trojans while Megan Chamberlain was in goal for Hermon.

MDI is now 5-5-1 and will play at Belfast on Wednesday, October 10th at 3:30PM

Hermon remains undefeated and will play at Nokomis on Thursday October 11th at 3:30PM.
