MDI Girls Beat Foxcroft Academy 60-51 [STATS]

The MDI Girls Basketball Team beat Foxcroft Academy 60-51 in the final regular season home game on Monday, February 3rd.

It was the final regular season home game for Seniors Lexi Tozier and Mia Shaw.

MDI led 21-8 at the end of the 1st Quarter, and 36-25 at the Half. The Trojans led 45-35 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

MDI was led by Ella Watson who had 16 points and a 3-pointer, going 7-8 from the free throw line. Lily Norwood had 14 points with 2 3-pointers. Lexi Tozier had 14 points. Calleigh Trenholm had a 3-pointer. MDI was 12-18 from the free throw line.

Foxcroft Academy was led by Nola Mason with a game-high 19 points, including a 3-pointer. Madyson Kimball had 17 points, including 5 3-pointers. Addie Day and Alli Cook each had a 3-pointer. The Ponies were 5-11 from the free throw line.

MDI is now 11-6 and close the regular season on Tuesday, February 4th at 7 p.m. at Ellsworth. The game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device, with the pregame starting at 6:40ish.

Foxcroft Academy finishes the season with a 4-14 record.
