MDI Girls 9 WA 0

The MDI Girls Soccer Team improved to 1-1 on the season with a 9-0 victory over the Washington Academy Raiders in East Machias on Thursday, September 7th.

Daisy Granholm found the back of the net 5 times to lead the Trojan's scoring.  Also scoring for MDI were Rachelle Swanson, Lily Turner, Rachel Leonard and Maddie Neale.

Cassia Barnes was in goal for the Trojans. She recorded the shutout, with 1 save.

MDI now 1-1 will play host to Old Town on Saturday, September 9th at 11 AM.

Washington Academy 0-2 plays at Belfast on Saturday, September 8th at 11 AM.
