MDI Football and Senior Recognition Night Moved to Thursday October 13

The MDI - Gray New Gloucester Football Game, originally scheduled for Friday, October 14th at 6 p.m. has been moved to Thursday night at 6 p.m. because of the expected rain showers (100 percent probability).

Senior Recognition for the Football Team and Golf Team will now take place at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, the 13th!

We will be broadcasting the game on WDEA AM 1370, on our free downloadable APP, on any Alexa enabled device and on WDEA Internet Radio.

To those "old-schoolers" who will complain about the game being moved.. Why complain? No one wants to sit outside in the stands during a driving rainstorm. The band won't be able to play. The field will be torn to shreds, and there's an increase risk of injury. No one wants a game where you can't hang onto the football when it's completely waterlogged! So come on out Thursday night, and ENJOY the game!

The game will also be video streamed on the MDI High School You Tube Channel.
