MDI Football Begins 2-a-Days August 18 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Football Team kicked off the 2025 season with the start of 2-a-days bright and early on Monday, August 18th at 6 a.m. on the practice field.

How early was it? Well the sprinklers were still irrigating the practice field!  The Trojans had approximately 25 suited up and ready to practice. Check out the photos from the morning.

• Monday August 25 Controlled Scrimmage vs. Bucksport 4 p.m.
• Friday August 29 Exhibition at Stearns 7 p.m.
• Friday September 5 at Houlton 7 p.m.
• Friday September 12 vs. Lake Region 7 p.m.
• Friday September 19 at Waterville 7 p.m.
• Friday September 26 vs. Mt. Ararat 7 p.m.
• Friday October 3 at Ellsworth 7 p.m.
• Friday October 10 vs. Orono 7 p.m.
• Friday October 17 vs. Camden Hills 7 p.m.

We will have all the regular season games on WDEA Internet Radio, on our Free Downloadable APP and on your Alexa enabled devices, beginning with the Friday, September 12th game against Lake Region. Games will be broadcast on WDEA AM 1370 when there's not a Red Sox game scheduled.
