The MDI Trojans fell to the Old Town Coyotes, Thursday, June 1st 6-2 in the final regular season game of the season, in Bar Harbor.

Old Town scored 1 run in the top of the 3rd inning, 4 more in the 4th, to make it 5-0. MDI scored their 1st run in the bottom of the 6th inning. Both teams added a run in the 7th inning.

Matt Perconti started on the mound for MDI, and went 6.1 innings, allowing 11 hits and 6 runs, 5 of which were earned. He struck out 5 and walked 2. Andrew Kennedy pitched the final 0.2 innings, allowing 1 hit.

Ryan Hoogterp started on the mound for Old Town, going 5.2 innings, allowing 3 hits, and 1 run, while striking out 5 and walking 5.  Austin Sheehan came on in relief pitching the final 1.1 innings, allowing 1 earned run and striking out 2.

For MDI Nick Stanley, Alden Fournier, Riley Swanson and Mac Shea all had a single.

For Old Town Cole Daniel was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. Dominic D'Angelo  had  2 singles.  Austin Sheehan had a double. Troy Crawford, Ryan Hoogterp, Ethan Stoddard, Jacob Ketch, Nick Swift, and Jacob Dubay all had singles for the Coyotes.

It was the final regular season game for the following MDI Trojans; Seth Clark, Ezra Johnson, Mac Shea, Aaron Snurkowski and Riley Swanson.

MDI finishes the regular season with a 10-6 record and will likely finish 6th in the Heal Points, and have a prelim home game on Tuesday, June 6th.

Old Town finishes the regular season with a 13-3 record and will finish 1st in the Heal Points and have a bye in the opening round of the playoffs.
