MDI Boys Track and Field 1st Girls 2nd

In the last regular season track and field meet, the MDI Boys finished 1st and the Girls 2nd at Bangor High School on Friday, May 11th.

The MDI Boys finished with 149 points, edging Orono who finished 2nd with 141 points. Bangor finished 3rd with 129 points. Rounding out the top 5 were GSA in 4th and Deer Isle Stonington in 5th.

On the Girs side, Orono finished 1st with 158 points while MDI finished 2nd with 142 points. Bangor finished 3rd with 121 points. Rounding out the top 5 were GSA in 4th and Penquis Valley in 5th.

MDI's Ashley Anderson set a new school record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12:46, winning the event.
