MDI Boys Soccer Knocks GSA From Unbeaten Ranks

The MDI Boys Soccer Team knocked George Stevens Academy from the ranks of the unbeaten, beating the Eagles 4-1 in Blue Hill on Wednesday, September 12th.

MDI scored the lone goal of the 1st Half when September Murray scored, assisted by Reider Watson with 18:37 remaining in the Half.

Fernando Casamayouret scored with 2:10 elapsed in the 2nd Half, assisted by Watson. Leao Nelson made it 3-0 when he found the back of the net with 23:59 remaining. Reider Watson had the assist, his 3rd of the night.

GSA scored with 17:06 left, as Ricardo Sanchez found the back of the net. That made the score MDI 3 GSA 1.

Nick Duley scored MDI's final goal, assisted by Fernando Casamayouret with 1:16 remaining in the game

Ben Hulbert was in goal for the Trojans.

MDI now 2-1-1 will play at the University of Maine against John Bapst on Saturday, September 15th at 3PM.

GSA,  4-1 will play host to Houlton on Saturday, September 15th at 2:30 PM
