MDI Boy’s Soccer Beats Old Town 6-1

The MDI Boy's Soccer Team picked up their 1st win of the season beating the Old Town Coyotes 6-1 on Thursday, September 19th.

MDI received goals from 6 different scorers. Scoring goals were Seb Cullen, Colin Sullivan, Cameron Graham, Corin Baker, Wells Morehouse and Bos Lisy. Picking up assists were Martin Hurkey, Bowdoin Allen, Corin Baker and Seb Cullen.

In the JV game, the Trojans beat the Coyotes 6-0

MDI is now 1-2-2 and will head up to Aroostook County to play the Presque Isle Wildcats on Saturday, September 21st at 2 p.m.

Old Town is 0-6 and are off until September 28th when they will host Presque Isle at 7 p.m.

In your nomination please include stats, the school and why they should be athlete of the week. Nominations will be accepted through Sunday, September 22nd, with voting taking place September 23rd-26th with the winner of Week 3 being announced on September 27th.
