MDI Boys Lose in Double OT 3-2

The MDI Boys Soccer Team played host to George Stevens Academy in Bar Harbor on Wednesday, September 13th and fell in double overtime 3-2.

GSA's Taylor Schildroth scored the 1st goal of the game to give the Eagles the 1-0 lead.

MDI's Jose Chumbe and Trevor Morrison found the back of the net, to give the Trojans a 2-1 lead.

Owen Vinall tied the game for GSA with an assist from Schildroth, and the game went into overtime tied 2-2.

Schildroth scored the winning goal in double overtime to give the Eagles the win.

MDI is now 0-4, and have lost 3 games by just 1 goal. The Trojans will take on Caribou this Saturday, in Bar Harbor on September 16th at 3 PM.

GSA is 2-0-2 and will travel to Houlton on Saturday, September 16th at 12 Noon
