MDI Boys Basketball to Host Hampden Academy [LISTEN LIVE]

The 10-1 MDI Boys Basketball Team will host the 5-5 Hampden Academy Broncos on Thursday night, January 15th at Bernard Parady Gymnasium.

The game will tip off, and you can hear the game on WDEA AM 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our FREE downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device with the pregame beginning at 6:10 p.m.

The Trojans in 3rd place in the Class B  North Heal Point Standings, and come off of a huge win over Ellsworth 78-67on Tuesday. The Trojans are averaging 72.4 points per game on offense and allowing 55.0 points on defense.

Hampden Academy is currently in 9th place in the Class A Heal Point Standings, and just outside looking in, as just the Top-8 teams qualify for the Tourney. The Broncos are coming off a 49-46 won over Bangor. They are averaging 51.60 points per fame on offense and allowing 47.5 points per game on defense.

MDI will play at Washington Academy in East Machias on Saturday, January 17th at 2:30 while Hampden Academy plays at Mt. Blue in Farmington on Friday, January 16h at 6:30 p.m.
