MDI Beats Waterville 32-8 [STATS/PHOTOS]

The MDI Football Team outgained Waterville 327-90 in total yardage and beat the Panthers 32-8 in Waterville on Saturday afternoon October 26th in the team's final regular season game.

MDI scored 1st when Kenneth Stillwell broke a 44 yard run with 8:41 left in the 1st Quarter for a touchdown. The 2-point conversion was good, and MDI led 8-0.

Then with 6:51 left in the 1st Half, Alister Frongillo broke a tackle and ran for a 30 yard touchdown. The 2-point conversion was good, and MDI led 16-0.

On the next play Donovan Porter returned a 70 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. With the 2-point conversion good, MDI led 16-8 with 6:32 left to play in the 1st Half.

MDI had the opportunity to tack on another score before halftime, but they fumbled inside the Waterville 7 yard line.

After MDI recovered an attempted onside kick to start the 2nd Half, MDI scored as Frongillo took the opening handoff and scored from 50 yards out. With the 2-point conversion good, MDI led 24-8.

The final score came with 8:11 left in the 3rd Quarter. MDI Quarterback escaped a sack in the backfield and scrambled for a 27 yard rushing touchdown. The 2-point conversion was good to give MDI the 32-8 win.

MDI finishes the regular season at 4-4 and will advance to the playoffs. Waterville finishes the regular season winless, with a 0-8 record.
