The MDI Trojans won their 3rd game in a row, nipping the Foxcroft Academy Ponies 2-1 in Bar Harbor on Thursday, May 10th.

Matt Perconti scattered 7 hits in 6.2 innings allowing 1 unearned run picking up the win for the Trojans. He struck out 12 and walked 1. Andrew Kennedy earned the save striking out 1 batter in the top of the 7th inning.

Ryan Laffin was the tough luck loser. He allowed 8 hits and 2 runs, both earned. He struck out 3 and walked 2.

For MDI Nick Stanley was 2-2 with 2 singles. Andrew Kennedy, Matt Perconti, Finn McConomy, Alden Fournier, Sam Keblinsky and Stanley Grierson each had a single for the Trojans. Grierson and Stanley each had 2 stolen bases. Alden Fournier and Sam Keblinsky each had 1 stolen base.

For the Ponies Levi Stedman has 2 singles, Jeremy Richard, Ethan Curtis, Hunter Annis, Luke Stedman and Micaleb Niles each had a single.

The Tojans are now 7-2 on the season and will play host to John Bapst on Saturday, May 12 at 12 Noon

Foxcroft Academy is 1-7 and will play John Bapst on Tuesday, May 14th at Husson University at 4:30 PM.
