The MDI Boys Baseball Team fell to Old Town Saturday afternoon May 1st, losing to the Coyotes 6-0 in Bar Harbor.

Old Town scored 3 runs in the 1st inning. MDI pitcher Noah Keeley walked the 1st 2 batters he faced, before getting Tanner Evans to strike out. But then Casey Downs singled driving in a run, and then a run scored on a passed ball. Keeley then walked 2 more Coyotes, before striking out Connor McCannell. With the bases loaded and 2 out, Keeley walked Isaac Hayes for the 3rd run. The Coyotes were finally retired when Seth Haverlock flew out to left field.

Old Town would add another run in the 2nd and 3rd innings, and a final run in the 6th inning.

Keeley went 3.2 innings, allowing 5 runs, walking 7 and struck out 2. He gave up 5 hits.

Jay Haney came in and pitched 2 innings allowing 1 run, walking 2.

Porter Isaacs pitched the final 1.1 innings allowing 1 hit, walking 4 and striking out 2.

Matthew Seymour pitched a complete game for the Coyotes, holding the Trojans to just 4 hits. He struck out 6 and didn't walk a batter.

For MDI Logan Beckwith, Grady Wellman-Webster, Porter Isaacs and Brady Renault all singled.

For the Coyotes, Casey Downs was 2-4. Tanner Evans, Connor McCannell, Isaac Hayes and Seth Haverlock all singled.

MDI is now 3-2 and will play in Blue Hill against George Stevens Academy on Tuesday, May 4th at 4:30 p.m.

Old Town, 4-0 plays Bangor at Mansfield Stadium on Tuesday, May 4th
