MDES Friendship Bench

What a great concept...A Friendship Bench! This is the Friendship Bench at Mount Desert Elementary School. The concept is simple.. If you need a friend or are feeling lonely you sit on the bench! That's the cue for others to come over and "friend" you!

I'm told it doesn't take long before friends appear! Funds were raised by students. There is also a Friendship Bench at Trenton Elementary School.
