Maine Maritime Academy Switches to Remote Learning Effective Thursday November 12th

Maine Maritime Academy in Castine announced on November 11th that effective Thursday November 12th they would be switching to remote learning

On Thursday the 12th and Friday the 13th only labs and face to face courses that are conducting required assessments or mandatory in person experience will operate as planned. All other courses will be provided via remote instruction.

As of Monday, November 16th ALL courses will be provided via remote instruction.

Final exams will not be held in person. Course faculty will determine the format for their final exams and will notify students in the coming days.

Curtis Hall and The Commons will close on Wednesday, November 18th at 5 p.m.

Students currently in isolation or quarantine will be asked to complete their required time on campus with meals provided.
