Little League Tourney in Ellsworth

The 2016 Bob Dorr Tournament of Champions will take place June 24-27 in Ellsworth for District 1. Hosted by the Downeast Family YMCA Little League in Ellsworth, the Tourney will featured 8 baseball teams and 7 softball teams for ages 7-10. Here are the schedules, with all games being played in Ellsworth at DeMeyer Field unless noted

Baseball
Teams will be divided into 2 Pools
Pool 1 Ellsworth Maroon, Ellsworth Gray, Sunrise Little League, Bucksport Little League
Pool 2 Machias Red, Machias White, Acadian Little League and Moosebec Little Leage

Ellsworth Maroon vs. Ellsworth Gray 2 PM
Sunrise vs. Bucksport 4 PM
Acadian vs. Moosebec 6 PM

Saturday June 25
Ellsworth Maroon vs. Sunrise 9 AM
Machias White vs. Moosebec 11:30 AM
Opening Ceremony For ALL Teams 2 PM
Machias Red vs. Acadian 3 PM
Ellsworth Gray vs. Bucksport 5:30 PM

Sunday June 26
Bucksport vs. Ellsworth Maroon 10 AM
Machias White vs. Acadian 12:30 PM
Machias Red vs. Moosebec 3 PM
Sunrise vs. Ellsworth Gray 5:30 PM

Monday June 27
Winner Pool 1 vs Winner Pool 2 5 PM.

The winner of each pool will be determined by win/loss record after 3 regulation games. If the records are the same then the 1st tiebreaker is "Runs allowed/defensive innings" with the 2nd tiebreaker Head to Head match-up.

Softball
All teams are in 1 pool. The two teams with the best records after 3 regulation games will play the final game. If the records are the same then the 1st tiebreaker is "Runs allowed/defensive innings" with the 2nd tiebreaker Head to Head match-up.
