Leland Steps Down as MDI Cheerleading Coach

MDI High School Athletic Director Bunky Dow announced that long-time cheerleading Coach Missy Leland was stepping down after 25 plus years as the Trojan Cheerleading Coach.

Missy along with her husband Dave own the Beacon Bar and Grill in Trenton. The time required to manage this successful business unfortunately isn't allowing her to continue to coach at the High School.

Missy has been an excellent coach with her teams always in the running for the State Champions and she has been a very strong supporter of the sport of cheering in the State of Maine and will be sorely missed.
