Lee Albee Saunders and Kane Selected to 2018 Lobster Bowl Squads

Congratulations to MDI's Colby Lee, Croix Albee, Hailey Saunders and Ellsworth's Ethan Kane who were selected to the 2018 Lobster Bowl Squads!

WABI TV had the full rosters on March 30th. Lee, Albee and Kane will play for the East, while Saunders will be on the sidelines with the East Cheering Squad.

The 2018 Lobster Bowl will be played on July 21, 2018 at Thornton Academy. This will be the 29th Annual.  This High School Senior All-Star football game is a Kora Shrine sponsored event where 100% of the net proceeds from the game are for the benefit of the 22 Shrine Hospitals for Children across the US, Canada, and Mexico. The student athletes are high school seniors who have just graduated and are about to enter college. They are nominated to play in this prestigious game by their coaches and selected by a committee from the Maine Athletics Association.
