Leah Hibbad (Portsmouth, RI) notched a pair of goals and helped on two others to lead the Husson University women's soccer team to a commanding 5-0 win at Johnson State on Sunday afternoon. With the win, Husson improved to 4-4-0 overall and 2-1-0 in North Atlantic Conference play while Johnson State falls to 7-3-0 and 2-1-0 in league play.

Hibbad assisted on Rachel Moroney's (West Bath, ME) 8:32 into the contest before doubling the lead eight minutes later off a Mollie Roy (Hermon, ME) assist.

Hibbad notched her second assist when she found Lexi Crawford (North Bridgton, ME) in the 33rd minute to put the Eagles up 3-0.  Katey Curtis (Ellsworth, ME) put the Eagles up 4-0 going into halftime when she scored in the 43rd minute.

Hibbad completed the scoring in the 52nd minute with an assist from Desir'ee Hamler (Franklin, NJ).

Jess Poulin (Albion, ME) and Anna Wolterbeek (Wells, ME) combined to make three saves in net for the shutout while Amber McCullock notched nine saves for Johnson State.

"We put together a fabulous performance today, and this win was a total team effort from start to finish," said Husson head coach Carly Gettler. "We showcased Husson soccer today, and we are all very proud of the result."

The Eagles continue play on Wednesday when they host Maine-Machias at 6 p.m.
