Jonesport-Beals Class of 2023 Honors Parts

The Faculty and Administration of Jonesport-Beals High School proudly announce the class parts for the school year 2022-23.

Valedictorian is Madison Warnock, daughter of April Warnock and Michael Warnock of Jonesport. Madison is a member of the National Honor Society, and has been on the Honor Roll, achieving High Honors, every quarter since entering J-BHS. She has been voted President of her class for the past two years. As a school leader and student of good character, Madison has received the Phi Beta Kappa award, as well as, the Maine Principals’ Award. She has received an Early College Pathways Certificate from the University of Maine at Machias. Madison plans to attend the University of New Hampshire where she will be studying Medical and Veterinary Sciences.

Salutatorian is Mallory Alley, daughter of Trudy and Timothy Alley of Jonesport. Mallory is a member of the National Honor Society, and has been on the Honor Roll, achieving High Honors, every quarter since entering J-BHS. Mallory has been voted as treasurer of her class all four years. She has participated as a manager in just about every sports program at J-BHS. Mallory has been part of the Early Childhood CTE program and a member of the CTE Honors Society. Mallory has also received an Early College Pathways Certificate from the University of Maine at Machias. Mallory plans to attend Husson University where she is enrolled in the Psychology program.

The class history will be given by Emma Peabody, daughter of Erin Gray of Palmyra and Elliott Peabody of Addison. The class prophecy by Joseph Dougherty, son of Michelle Berry and Jeffrey Copp of Jonesport. The class will by Emma Vincent, daughter of Shanna Blackwood of Jonesport. The class gifts by Garrett Libby and Damon Beal. Garrett is the son of Michele and Glenn E. Libby of Jonesport. Damon is the son of Abbi and Sonny Beal of Beals
