Jesup Memorial Library to Honor Kids Who Collected $1000 This Summer Selling Lemonade
Back on July 1st we told you about a group of kids who were selling lemonade outside the Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor, to help with the library's 2 million dollar capital campaign. It turns out residents and visitors were generous and thirsty as these kids collected $1000!
To thank them for their efforts, the library is hosting a special event at the Jesup on Thursday, September 1 at 3:30 p.m. By raising $1000, the group is eligible for a legacy leaf on the donor tree in the new expansion. The kids will gather to decide how they want to dedicate their leaf, play some games, and have ice cream sundaes. We are so grateful to this group for their dedication and support, and want to make sure they are recognized for their efforts!
The Jesup would like to publicly thank Rebecca, Ellen, Owen, Ethan, Sawyer, Piper, Peyton, Sierra, Taylor Annabel, Jack, Oliver, James, Camilla, Ellie, Hannah and Rosella, (and their supportive families).
