Jerry Lewis Dead at 91

Jerry Lewis passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. He was 91. Lewis known for hosting the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon every Labor Day Weekend, was the host from 1966 through 2010. During that time, the MDA Telethon raised nearly 2.5 billion dollars.

Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin teamed up in 1946 and turned out movie after movie for 10 years.  Lewis may be best known for The Nutty Professor, a Paramount Studios hit in 1963. In 2004, The Nutty Professor was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
