The Catch of Year occurred in Baltimore on Wednesday, May 8th as Jackie Bradley went waist high up over the wall to rob the Orioles and prevent a game winning home run in the bottom of the 11th inning. Andrew Benintendi hit a solo homer in the 12th and Heath Hembree struck out the side for his 1st career save as the Red Sox beat the Orioles 2-1 in extra innings

The Red Sox are now 19-19 and at .500 for the 1st time since the 2nd game of the season in March when they were 1-1. The Red Sox have won 13 of their last 19 games.

Benintendi's homer to right was his 1st homer to right since last August

Meanwhile Chris Sale was dominant on the mound. He struck out 14 including 3 in the 7th on 9 pitches, becoming just the 5th Red Sox pitcher in history to throw an "Immaculate Inning". In his last 4 starts he is 1-1 with a 1.73 ERA. He had a no decision on Thursday night

Red Sox pitchers struck out 22 on the night. Ryan Brasier picked up the win and is now 2-1.
