
Iconic ‘Bigfoot’ Monster Truck To Make Appearance In Midcoast Maine This Summer At The Union Fair
If the roar of the engine, the smell of gasoline and the sight of crushed metal make you happy, then we're pleased to pass along this little bit of news about a pretty big deal in the world of monster trucks!
According to organizers with the Union Fair/Maine's Wild Blueberry Festival, the iconic monster truck "Bigfoot" will be making a two-day appearance in the midcoast Maine area, and folks will be able to both see it in action AND get up close and personal with the legend itself!

Rick Butler, Publicity Head for the Union Fair, says Bigfoot will be at the 2026 Union Fair Saturday August 8th and Sunday August 9th.
"Bigfoot will do 2 car crushing demonstrations each day. Plus there will be times where you’ll be able to see Bigfoot up close."
Butler says the response to the announcement has been really positive!
"People are excited to see this icon. This is a rare opportunity that we were able to book. This will be Bigfoot's only appearance in Maine this year outside of the Hot Wheels arena tour."
"During the two days Bigfoot will be doing two car crushing demonstrations daily and there will be a static display throughout the day where people will be able to get up close to see Bigfoot.

Butler says the times for the car crushing and static displays have not been set yet, but will be posted on their website They will be posted later on our website and our fair schedule, which will be available online and at local businesses around July 1st.
