If you've ever run a business you understand the prevailing wisdom suggests you need to keep an eye on your competitor to be able to maintain that competitive edge.

That being said however, you may want to rethink that strategy slightly, especially if it's going to get you into trouble with the law.

That's apparently what happened this week in Ellsworth.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Department reports it assisted the Ellsworth Police Department Tuesday with a traffic stop after a FEDEX delivery driver reported that he was being followed, and apparently the person following him had been tailing him for over two hours.

According to the incident report Ellsworth PD Officer Rick Roberts stopped the vehicle in question and the driver admitted he worked for UPS and was following to see who the company had for customers.

The driver was warned for harassment.
