Islander Wins Newspaper of the Year Award

I love to see local businesses win awards and be recognized for the great things they are doing! Congratulations to the Mount Desert Islander which was  selected as the Newspaper of the Year in their category.

The Islander won for Weekly Newspaper with a circulation of 5,000 to 9,000 and chosen at the New England Newspaper and Press Association taking place in Worcester, Massachusetts on Thursday, October 10th.

There are 600 members publications in the New England Newspaper and Press Associaton.
