Representatives from Island Connections would love to meet with prospective drivers on Tuesday, August 3rd at Milk and Honey, 3 Old Firehouse Lane in Northeast Harbor at 9:30 a.m. They'll even treat you to a coffee and pastry. Rain date Wednesday August 4th.

Island Connections provides free transportation to seniors and those with physical disabilities through a network of volunteer drivers. They also deliver Meals on Wheels on Mount Desert Island, including Bar Harbor. In fact, they delivered 16,000 meals to Island residents in the last year.
