Ice Skating Downeast

There are at least 3 areas to ice skate Downeast,(not counting the lakes) as long as Mother Nature cooperates.

There is an ice skating rink at Knowlton Park in Ellsworth, and they have their own Facebook page as well, with updates as to the rink conditions

There is a ice skating rink at the College of Atlantic, and this even has a flood light, for night time skating!

Then there is also the Glen Mary wading pool on Waldron Avenue in Bar Harbor that doubles as a skating rink in the winter months.

Of course, there are also all the lakes Downeast. Be sure to test the ice conditions if you are going out on the frozen lakes, to be sure the ice is thick enough, and if so, someone should know where exactly you are going, and when you are planning on returning.
