How to Listen/Watch the MDI and Ellsworth Girls Basketball Playoff Games Tuesday February 15th

Are you ready for Tournament Basketball? The #3 MDI Trojan Girls Basketball Team and #6 Ellsworth Girls Basketball Team are in action tonight, playing for the right to open the 2022 Tournament at the Cross Insurance Center on Friday, February 18th at 4 p.m.

MDI Girls

The Trojans are 14-4 and the #3 seed. They play host to the #14 Orono Red Riots who are 4-13. Tip-off is at 6 p.m with the pregame on AM 1370 WDEA beginning at 5:45 p.m. The game will also be broadcast on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device .The game will also be live-streamed on the MDI NFHS Channel (subsription required)

The 2 teams met nearly 2 months ago back on December 17th in Bar Harbor with the Trojans beating Orono 67-43

Ellsworth Girls

The Eagles are 11-7 and #6  in Class B North. They will host the Washington Academy Raiders who are #11 and 8-9 at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Ellsworth High School You Tube Channel. These 2 teams met just over a month ago, on January 13th when Ellsworth defeated the Raiders 61-26 in Ellsworth.

The winner of these 2 games will open the 2022 Tournament at 4 p.m. from the Cross Insurance Center. That game will be broadcast on on AM 1370 WDEA beginning at 3:45 p.m. The game will also be broadcast on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device .
